Interactive Web Copy: A Free Planetary Sigil Maker That Teaches While It Works
Four steps for the beginner, the method behind them for the practitioner, on one page.
Source: Ahrefs Web Analytics, September 21 – October 25, 2026.
— The brief —
A free tool that builds a sigil on one of the seven planetary squares, the number grids magicians have traced intentions across for about 500 years. Most practitioners know what a sigil is, but few know the math of a magic square. The page had to let a beginner make a sigil in four steps, explain enough of the method that an experienced practitioner trusts the result, and launch across email and social.
— The sample —

Intro
"A sigil is a symbol you make to hold one goal. This tool builds yours on one of the seven planetary squares, so the planet that rules your goal is part of its shape."
The four steps
- Choose Your Square
- Write Your Intention
- Your Path on the Square
- Your Sigil
Microcopy inside the tool
"Type your intention in a word or two, like Courage or Steady money. The tool turns each letter into a number for you."
"Numbers keep a sigil private, because no one can read your intention back out of it."
"The square only goes up to 16, so 2 numbers were shrunk to fit by adding the digits together: 21 → 3, 18 → 9."
The intro defines before it instructs. A beginner who doesn't know the word won't keep reading, so the first sentence says what a sigil is in eleven words. The second says what the tool does, plus that pair is exactly what search engines and LLMs lift as the answer.
Each step is one decision. Numbered steps follow the order a person actually decides: which planet, what intention, then the result. For readers who don't know which planet rules their goal, "Not sure? Start with your goal" offers goals like Love, Money, and Protection instead, so two education levels use the same tool.
The microcopy shows the math as it happens. "21 → 3" lets the reader watch each number fit the square, so the finished sigil feels earned rather than generated, plus it answers the questions a practitioner would otherwise email about.
The tool is for doers; the guide below is for learners. Sections on how it works, which square fits a goal, and what to do with a sigil follow the tool, with eight FAQs. Readers who want only a sigil never scroll past step four, plus the guide carries HowTo and FAQ schema for search.
— What I'll test next —
Track each finished sigil as an event, so time on page can be tied to sigils actually made, then compare completion rates for readers who start with a planet against those who start with a goal.
